About Us

The PPSC Committee (PPSC) was established in 1988 by the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MICCI) to look into the interests of the upstream petroleum sector. The PPSC membership comprises of (24) upstream petroleum production sharing contractors; operators & non-operators carrying out business in Malaysia. Membership is on invitation basis and restricted to MICCI members who are upstream petroleum production sharing contractors (PSC).

Objectives

1. To liaise and co-operate with PETRONAS and/or the Government, on matters directly or indirectly affecting the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry in Malaysia.

2. To promote the common interests of MICCI members who are involved in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry as Production Sharing Contractors (PSCs).

3. To address issues affecting the upstream oil and gas industry and to enter into dialogue with PETRONAS and/or the Government, on the subject of promoting the common interest of the PPSC members.

4. Routine engagement with PETRONAS Malaysia Petroleum Management and relevant units on matters of interest to the industry for continuous improvement towards mutual benefit.
